Fender Telecaster
48" x 36" Acrylic on Canvas
Originally introduced in 1950 as the Broadcaster. Due to a copyright issue, Fender renamed it briefly to Nocaster, then to Telecaster in late 1951, which took advantage of the advent of television. The "Tele" has been a mainstay of rock and country music for over 7 decades now. This one belongs to Dallas guitarist, Jay Spence.
