Gibson ES-335 Pro
48" x 54" Acrylic on Canvas
Gibson first introduced this semi-hollow body, semi-acoustic guitar in 1958 as part of its ES (Spanish Electric) series. The ES-335 Pro first appeared in 1979 and featured Gibson’s “Dirt Finger” humbuckers, which had a higher output than the standard pickups, more rock ’n’ roll, less jazz. This is a 1982 model owned by South African musician, Quartus.
